FAQ
Questions students ask
Short answers about what Aceversity is and how it works.
- What is Aceversity?
- Aceversity is an AI study planner for college and university students. You upload your syllabi and lecture notes; it finds every exam, quiz and deadline, builds a daily study plan for the semester, and generates practice exams, flashcards and study sheets from your own material.
- How do I make a study plan from a syllabus?
- Upload the syllabus as a file, a photo or pasted text. Aceversity reads the dates and grading, creates the course with its exams and assignments, and plans how many minutes to study each day, ramping up before each exam. You can adjust days off, work hours and daily minutes any time.
- Can it create practice exams from my lecture notes?
- Yes. Upload slides, class notes or study guides and Aceversity writes practice quizzes (5 or 10 questions) and practice exams (15 or 25) from them, with results by topic and unlimited retakes.
- Does Aceversity work for any subject or school?
- Yes. It works with any course that has a syllabus or a test date: university, community college, high school, trade and certification programs and self-paced learning — in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
- How much does Aceversity cost?
- $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, with a 3-day free trial. One plan includes everything; cancel anytime. A one-year gift is also available.
- Is there a mobile app?
- Yes. The Aceversity app for iOS and Android is for members: your plan, practice, reminders as notifications and the same courses as on the web.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. Your syllabi, notes and results are yours. They are used only to build your plan and practice material — never sold or used to train models — and you can delete your account and data at any time.
- How is Aceversity different from a calendar or to-do app?
- A calendar shows dates; Aceversity decides what to do each day. It reads your actual course material, weighs exams by their share of the grade, ramps practice before each test and tracks which topics you still miss.
- What do instructors get?
- Instructors see class-wide, anonymous insights: the topics the class struggles with, practice results and syllabus dates — never individual students.
- How long does setup take?
- About five minutes: upload a syllabus and some notes, confirm the dates, and the plan for the semester is ready.
- What happens when I get a question wrong?
- The concept goes on your weak-spots list and comes back the next day as a different, slightly easier question — never the same one twice. Answer it right twice, in two separate sessions, and it moves to a longer review interval; miss it again and it returns sooner. Each daily session mixes weak spots, new material and review, sized to your training plan, and an exam in the next few days pulls its concepts forward.
- Does Aceversity work for high school, AP, SAT or certification exams?
- Yes. Anything with a syllabus or a test date works: high school and AP or IB classes, SAT and ACT prep, nursing and other licensure exams such as the NCLEX, trade and certification programs, and self-paced online courses. Pick your student type on the home page to see the copy written for you.
- Can I use Aceversity without a syllabus?
- Yes. A short form lets you enter the course, its exams and assignments and the grade weights by hand, and Aceversity builds the same semester plan and practice from that.
- What is Aceversity Clicker?
- Aceversity Clicker is a free live quiz tool for instructors. Students join from a QR code or a PIN without an account, answer on their phones, and the instructor sees anonymous class-wide results in real time. It is free for instructors and their students.
- Does Aceversity write questions from my notes or from the internet?
- From your own material. Practice questions, flashcards, study sheets and concept maps are generated from the syllabus and notes you upload, so they match what your course actually covers. Your material is never sold or used to train models.
- Which languages does Aceversity support?
- English, French, Spanish and Arabic, on the web and in the iPhone and Android app; Arabic is shown right to left. Your course material itself can be in any language the AI can read.
